Empire Exhibition now on display

The Empire is a vast place made of many disparate city-states, to reflect this our Art and Design Exhibition has raided the Design Studio, dug through the Archives and sweet-talked collectors into parting with armies.

A summer blockbuster like no other there's original art such as the Empire vs Chaos and all the new pieces created for the recent Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire. There's three armies on show including the classic Studio army of the 1990's, each representing a different era and style of collecting and painting. There's also scenery, books, sketches, conversions and variants from Studio staff, most popular of which are the Battle Wizards from White Dwarf 354. 

Open daily with free admission until October 5th.

Great Guest Displays in Citadel Miniatures Hall

There's now two new Guest Armies on display, so along with Paul Corcoran's Orks - there's three great reasons to revisit the Citadel Miniatures Hall whether you prefer Warhammer or 40K.
Bretonnians and Chaos Space Marines, by Justin Read and Rob Peck - both Hobbyists who show what a little hard work and a lot of thought can achieve.

Last Chance to see Lizardmen

Currently on display in the Gaming Arena is our Lizardmen Exhibition, looking at all things scaly from the Slann through to the recent Lizardmen Codex. On the 30th of March the Exhibition will be taken down to prepare and put in place our first Lord of The Rings display. There's still over a week to get here and enjoy the lush jungles of Lustria though, so if you haven't seen it yet now is the time.

Lizardmen Exhibition

Now on display on the Gaming Arena the new Lizardmen Art and Design Exhibition is a celebration of all things scaly. With examples of early concept miniatures created by Nigel Stillman for the first Lizardmen codex, miniatures from across the years, scenery used in White Dwarf and the new codex, the display cabinets are full of great things to see. The art is also plentiful, with six boards of original work comprising of three boards new art and three boards classic images. The concept sketches for War Machines of the Gods are worth visiting alone - Spikydeathosaurus!

The Exhibition is open daily along with the venue and is free.

Wildcard Winners now revealed.

After some deliberation, the recipients of the 2008-9 Throne of Skulls Grand Final Wild Card tickets have been chosen, and are as we speak being informed of their imminent attendance of the event.

War in The North Armies on Display

White Dwarf 348 see the start of a new campaign featuring Warriors of Chaos and Demon armies from wade Pryce, Nick Bayton, Pete Foley and Phil Kelly. They have kindly loaned their armies to the Citadel Miniatures Hall until February the 16th. The current display includes some miniatures not seen in this White Dwarf, but appearing in January's issue. Gazing at this excellent guest display you'll discover how special it is seeing our miniatures not on paper, but in real life.

Warhammer 25 Exhibition - Around the World and Back Again.

Barcelona, Paris, Toronto, LA, Cologne, Moderna, Baltimore, Chicago.... Nottingham.

Warhammer's 25th Anniversary touring exhibition, the best of classic products and original art that our archives and departments can provide, has returned to Nottingham. Now on display in the Gaming Arena at Warhammer World this comprehensive and fascinating exhibition contains well known images and some suprising items, such as original pages for an unpublished graphic novel.

Available daily (other than these periods) until February the 2nd and a great way to end the year, reflecting on the past 25 and looking forward to a great 2009.

Orcs and Goblins terrorise Citadel Miniatures Hall

Ben Johnson of the Derby Wargames Society has kindly loaned us his Orcs and Goblins army, a force which has seen much action in tournaments around the world. Nominated numerous times for best painted army, it finally won the award at a Grand Tournament final - with even a quick glance you'll think it's suprising that it took so long this this army to get the recognition it deserves.

The army is display now until the 14th of November.

Call to Arms Rules Pack Online

The rules pack for the 2008 Call to Arms event is now available.
