Warhammer World Events Tickets Now Available!

Having dealt with the Grot problem, we are very pleased to announce that 'The Lord of The Rings Grand Tournament Tickets' and 'Warhammer World Christmas Hobby Camp Tickets' are now available to purchase from our web store.

We apologise for the delay in the release of the tickets.

Warhammer 40,000 Doubles Tickets - Sold Out

We can now confirm - having hit the web store software with a stick full of nails until the Grots crawled out - Warhammer 40,000 Doubles Tickets sold out fully on the day of release.

The confusion over the past week arose when the software lost count of tickets sold and we had to stop all sales while checking orders, to avoid dissapointing people by selling them a ticket and later informing them that there was actually no space for them at the event. As it turns out this was the correct thing to do as we had sold out in record time.

Our apologies for the confusion and any conflicting messages you may have heard - if you didn't get a ticket then better luck next time!

John Blanche Q&A sessions

Our current Art and Design Exhibition has been selected and laid out by John Blanche, our Director of Art and a veteran of 25 years working with Games Workshop.

To tie in with this display there will be two opportunities to drop by for a closer look at John’s work and an informal chat with him about artwork, painting miniatures and his unique style.

John will be with the Art Exhibition from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Tuesday 27^th of October and Sunday 22^nd of November.

This is a free event and no ticket is required, simply drop in and say hallo on the day.  

Christmas Closures and Changes to Service

Due to two large corporate events Warhammer World will be offering a slightly altered service on the 4th and 5th of December. We will still be open to visitors, but some facilities such as gaming tables, the Hobby Bar or the Art and Design Exhibition may be limited access.

To avoid dissapointment please email or call before coming to visit us.

Although everyone here loves their jobs we have to go home sometime, so over the festive period Warhammer World and Bugmans Bar will be closed:

• December 25th
• December 26th

• January 1st

Reduced Service and Closure 7th to 11th and 16th to 19th of September

Dear Customers,

From the 7th to the 11th of September the Citadel Miniatures Hall will be closed for a  deep clean. Other services will be open as usual. 

From the 16th to the 19th of September Warhammer World will be hosting two internal business events. Unfortunately this means some of our services will be limited or unavailable, including total closure of the venue on Thursday the 17th.

New Event Packs Available to Download!

Warhammer World is proud to anounce the arrival of the new event packs for the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 Throne of Skulls Grand Tournaments for the 2009-10 season.

Tickets go on sale via our Web Store and Direct Sales for these events on the 17th of July and will fly out  - you have been warned!

Warhammer Battlefields: Aaarrggh! Grots did it!

For those of you looking at the blog recently and pondering whether or not to attend this year's Warhammer Battlefields Event and Grand Tournaments would have probably spotted some strange-ness when it comes to some of the content of the packs.

Important Announcement: Major Changes to the House Rules for Warhammer World Events

For a while now, Warhammer World Events have produced a rules-based House Rules document prior to our events in order to help players answer some of the burning rules issues of the day. To manage and deliver this consistently, even with the help of some fantastic volunteers from within the Community and Games Workshop, has been problematic to say the least.

Throne of Skulls Grand Tournament tickets

Tickets for all the Throne of Skulls Grand Tournaments go on sale from Friday 17^th of July and are available by calling direct sales on 0115  91 40 000, or on the website here. Make sure you get yours early to avoid dissapointment.
