Following last year's Fortress board, the Logistics and Scenery Team here have to do something big for their Games Day feature table.

13 tables, which combine to one massive gaming board or 7 smaller segments.

Games Day 2009 miniature now on display

The Exalted Hero of Chaos, which is this year's exclusive Games Day Miniature, is now on show in our new releases cabinet in the Citadel Miniatures Hall. We know that some people around the world already have been to their nearest Games Day, so he isn't quite new, but we think he deserved pride of place.

Golden Demon winners now on display

We invited the Golden Demon winners from 2008 to show their miniatures in the Citadel Miniatures Hall and we're glad to say that many were willing to part with their creations, some even travelled from overseas to join us.

It's a great chance to see the miniatures without the noise and distractions of Games Day, and it may well inspire some of this year's entries or even provide ideas for your own projects.

Those on display are shown in this album, however some may be periodically removed from display for photography so we can't promise all will be available when you visit. The display is free and open daily until May 15th.

 

Art and Design Exhibition on tour

The final touches are being put in place to 2009's Touring Exhibition, heading out from Warhammer World to Games Days at Paris, Baltimore, Toronto, Chicago, the UK and possibly a couple of other yet to be confirmed venues. To whet your appetite before you plan to head to your nearest Games Day look here for sneaky pictures of the exhibition being collated and prepared.

Golden Demon Winner's Display

To celebrate the winner's of this year's UK Golden Demons we will have a special display in the Citadel  Miniatures Hall from the 4th of April until the 29th of May. This might seem a long time after the UK Games Day but we've planned the display to inspire hobbyists to prepare their own entries just in time for the 2009 Golden Demons.

Also if you have a long way to travel it is worth making plans now as it's a rare opportunity to see an excellent collection of winning miniatures without the jostling crowds.
