Warhammer World Events

Throughout the year Warhammer World runs its own series of events, including its signature Grand Tournaments for most of Games Workshop's games.  With each event being run by a team of highly experienced coordinators and referees these events have become some of the best in the world.

Currently we offer the following types of events:

  • Grand Tournaments - our main events where players from across the globe compete to be considered the Grand Tournament Champion.  We offer Lord of the Rings and Blood Bowl Grand Tournaments along with a series of three Grand Tournament Heats for both Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000, culminating in a final event for both later in the season.
  • Doubles Tournaments - fancy teaming up with a mate to take part in an event?  Well then our doubles tournaments are for you.  Using a more relaxed format than our Grand Tournaments, players team up with a partner to field a combined force that you wouldn't normally see on a battlefield.  We currently offer Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy and Lord of the Rings tournaments.
  • Battlefields Events - a new event format for Warhammer World, Battlefields isn't a tournament or a campaign weekend - it focuses on offer a fantastic, sociable gaming experience to everyone involved.  Making use of a number of advanced optional rules and scenarios, Battlefields events allow players to field much larger, more varied armies than usual.  Currently, we offer both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Fantasy Battlefields events.

House Rules Documents

Below are the latest versions of our tournament house rules documents. These documents are living documents, meaning they can and will be updated and changed periodically. Any new additions to a document since the previous version can be found in red text. A question that is no longer relevant will be struck through.  Please note these documents are not official GW FAQ or errata - those can be found here.  Both the official GW documents and the relevant House Rules documents will be enforced at our events.
