Not yet tried an Open Gaming weekend?

The first weekend of each month we usually designate as open gaming, meaning there's no big events to get in the way of you, your mates, your armies and one of our great gaming tables.

May 2nd and 3rd are open gaming days so if you haven't made plans and want to get the best from your bank holiday why not join us for a days gaming?

Gaming Hall Reduced Service 8th - 12th June and 17th June

Between the 8th and 12th of June 2009 the Warhammer World Gaming Hall will be having its annual clean. Unfortunately this means some of our services will be limited or unavailable.

Also Late Night Opening is cancelled on Wednesday the 17th of June and moved to Tuesday the 16th.

Black Library Live 2009 commences!

 Black Library Live 2009, taking place at Warhammer World in Nottingham, opened to the public this morning at 9.30am. 

Black Library had laid on a host of participation games which are themed around a range of their novels, including the new Graham Mcneil book 'Courage and Honour' and Nick Kyme's new 'Salamander' novel and short story.

As well as all the particpation games, the Warhammer World Hobby Bar is hosting a 'Chaos Lord' conversion competition, while Black Library have also laid on an extensive sales area featuring an entire host of pre-release and previous novels plus a schedule of exclusive readings and seminars throughout the day and had the 'Battle of the Skull Harvest' competition for visitors to take part in.

Golden Demon winners now on display

We invited the Golden Demon winners from 2008 to show their miniatures in the Citadel Miniatures Hall and we're glad to say that many were willing to part with their creations, some even travelled from overseas to join us.

It's a great chance to see the miniatures without the noise and distractions of Games Day, and it may well inspire some of this year's entries or even provide ideas for your own projects.

Those on display are shown in this album, however some may be periodically removed from display for photography so we can't promise all will be available when you visit. The display is free and open daily until May 15th.

 

The Lord of The Rings exhibition - a first for Warhammer World

Warhammer World is currently very proud to have the first display of all our original artwork from our The Lord of The Rings books. From our first rulebook to the brand new War of The Ring we have crammed as much as possible in, giving you eight sides of art to enjoy. Plus there's miniatures going back to the early eighties.

Forge World Open Day Begins!

From 6AM this morning, fans of Forge World have patiently waited for the Forge World Open Day to start!  

Forge World Events Only Model Revealed!

On Sunday the 5th of April 2009 at Warhammer World in Nottingham, Forge Worlds Events only model for 2009 will be available to purchase for the first time ever!
